Erasmus+
Erasmus+ is a European Union program that allows you to study for 2 to 12 months at a European university that is a partner and member of the Erasmus+ program.
As part of an Erasmus+ exchange program:
► You will remain enrolled at your home university.
► You will not pay tuition fees at the partner university.
► You will take courses equivalent to your program at UFR, taught either in the language of the host country or, where applicable, in English.
► You will take your exams on site, and the grades you earn will be validated and counted toward your French degree according to the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS).

When to apply?
Each year, two application sessions are organized by the International Relations Department (DRI).
The DRI and the International Relations Unit of the UFR LLSHS organize two information sessions each year on exchange programs to keep you informed of the conditions, procedures, and deadlines.
Deadline for submitting a complete application:
► Early March*: for mobility in the first semester, second semester, or full year of the following year
► Early July*: for mobility in the second semester of the following year
How to apply?
Once you have identified the European universities, you apply via the university’s online portal.
You will then receive an Erasmus+ application form, including a provisional course schedule, which you must complete. The application must then be approved by your coordinator, with whom you must make an appointment.
The final application, accompanied by the required documents (latest transcripts), must then be sent to the DRI.
Funding
Eligibility requirements
► Be enrolled at Sorbonne Paris Nord during the year of your stay abroad.
► Have received a letter of acceptance for a stay under a partnership agreement.
► Have a signed learning agreement before departure.
► Have a signed Erasmus Kit (Erasmus stays).
Procedure for requesting financial support
► Complete and submit the International Mobility Assistance Application form for the academic year of your mobility.
► Download the application summary and sign the sworn statement on the first page.
► Send the signed sworn statement to the International Relations Department (DRI).
► After verification of eligibility, a decision on the award will be sent by email.
Terms of financing
At the start of the mobility period, the certificate of arrival must be sent to the International Relations Department in order to trigger the financial aid payment process.
The payment terms differ depending on the duration of the mobility period.
► Annual mobility
1st payment: 50% of the grant upon receipt of the arrival certificate.
2nd payment: 25% of the grant at the beginning of the second semester.
Balance: 25% of the grant at the end of the stay after verification and presentation of the required supporting documents.
► Semester mobility
1st payment: 75% of the grant (1st payment) upon receipt of the arrival certificate;
Balance: 25% of the grant (balance) at the end of the stay after verification and presentation of the required supporting documents.
Students eligible for multiple grants will receive separate bank transfers.
► At the end of the stay
At the end of their mobility period, students are required to send the following to the International Relations Department:
► The attendance certificate confirming the start and end dates of their stay;
► The participant report (for Erasmus stays).
At the end of the mobility period, the amount of the grants may be adjusted to the actual length of the stay, in accordance with the rules in force and the remaining budget.
For any suspended or shortened mobility and for any missing supporting documents, the aid received must be reimbursed.
