Going on an international internship
You can enrich your academic career by doing an international internship. It promotes the acquisition of language skills. Living and working in another country encourages you to become more independent, adaptable, and able to solve problems in new contexts. An international internship also offers the opportunity to discover other professional practices and working methods, while expanding your network abroad. Finally, it is a real asset for your academic and professional career, enhancing your resume and strengthening your employability.
Procedure for applying for an internship abroad

Pre-authorization form (PA)
Complete the prior authorization form (PA) online.

Have the AP approved by the UFR management
Once completed, download the form and send it to the UFR internship department to obtain approval from the UFR management.+

Validation of the AP by the International Relations Department (DRI)
Once approved by the UFR management, send the AP to the DRI for validation and signature.

Return of the AP approved by the DRI to the UFR
Once approved by the DRI, send the signed AP to the UFR internship department.

Editing the internship agreement
Follow the procedure for establishing an internship agreement with the LLSHS internship office.
Funding
Eligibility requirements
► Be enrolled at Sorbonne Paris Nord University during the year of your stay abroad.
► Have completed the Internship Abroad procedure.
► Be in possession of an internship agreement signed by all parties.
► Be in possession of a signed Erasmus Internship Kit (Erasmus stays).
Procedure for requesting financial support
► Complete and submit the International Mobility Assistance Application form for the academic year of your mobility.
► Download the application summary and sign the sworn statement on the first page.
► Send the signed sworn statement to the International Relations Department (DRI).
► After verification of eligibility, a decision on the award will be sent by email.
Financing terms and conditions
At the start of the mobility period, the certificate of arrival must be sent to the International Relations Department in order to trigger the financial aid payment process.
The payment terms differ depending on the duration of the mobility period.
► Annual mobility
1st payment: 50% of the grant upon receipt of the arrival certificate.
2nd payment: 25% of the grant at the beginning of the second semester.
Balance: 25% of the grant at the end of the stay after verification and presentation of the required supporting documents.
► Semester mobility
1st payment: 75% of the grant (1st payment) upon receipt of the arrival certificate;
Balance: 25% of the grant (balance) at the end of the stay after verification and presentation of the required supporting documents.
Students eligible for multiple grants will receive separate bank transfers.
► At the end of the stay
At the end of their mobility period, students are required to send the following to the International Relations Department:
► The attendance certificate confirming the start and end dates of their stay;
► The participant report (for Erasmus stays).
At the end of the mobility period, the amount of the grants may be adjusted to the actual length of the stay, in accordance with the rules in force and the remaining budget.
For any suspended or shortened mobility and for any missing supporting documents, the aid received must be reimbursed.
The search for an internship remains an individual endeavor that is the responsibility of each student.
University services can assist you in this process:
► The VOIE (Orientation and Professional Integration) service offers personalized assistance with writing your resume and cover letter, as well as preparing for interviews.
► Under certain conditions, the International Relations Department may award financial aid to support internships abroad.
Students are invited to contact these services for advice on developing and implementing their internship project abroad.

Étape 1 : Recherche d'un stage à létranger
► États membres de l’Union européenne (UE) : Belgique, Bulgarie, Tchéquie, Danemark, Allemagne, Estonie, Irlande, Grèce, Espagne, France, Croatie, Italie, Chypre, Lettonie, Lituanie, Luxembourg, Hongrie, Malte, Pays-Bas, Autriche, Pologne, Portugal, Roumanie, Slovénie, Slovaquie, Finlande, Suède
► Pays tiers associés au programme : Macédoine du Nord, Serbie, Islande, Liechtenstein, Norvège, Turquie
Étape 2 : Situation géopolitique
Chaque année deux sessions de candidatures sont organisés par la DRI
La DRI, direction (centrale) des relations internationales et la cellule des relations internationales de l’UFR LLSHS organisent chaque année deux réunions d’information sur les programmes d’échanges pour vous tenir informés des conditions, modalités et des échéances.
Date limite de dépôt d’un dossier complet :
► Début mars* : pour partir en mobilité au 1er semestre ou au 2nd semestre de l’année suivante
► Début juillet* : pour partir en mobilité au 2nd semestre de l’année suivante
Étape 3 : Formulaires de renseignements
Après avoir identifié les universités européennes, vous allez postulez via un portail en ligne disponible ici
Vous recevrez ensuite un dossier Erasmus + incluant une fiche prévisionnelle des enseignements suivis, à compléter. Le dossier devra ensuite être visé par votre coordinateur.rice* avec qui vous devez prendre rendez-vous.
Le dossier final accompagné des pièces demandées (derniers relevés de notes) sera ensuite à transmettre à la DRI.

Des sites vous proposent des offres de stages en Europe et hors Europe. Vous trouverez ci-dessous une liste non exhaustive :
► Les stages du Ministère de l’Europe et des Affaires Etrangères (MEAE) sur le portail de la Fonction Publique PASS diffuse des offres de stage à l’étranger auprès d’une ambassade, d’une représentation permanente française ou d’un consulat général.
► Le portail EURES qui recense des offres d’emplois et de stage en Europe.
► La plateforme Erasmus Intern qui diffuse des offres de stage en Europe dans le cadre du programme Erasmus.
► La plateforme Réseau Pro de l’université qui met en ligne des offres d’emplois et de stages pour tous les étudiants et anciens étudiants de l’USPN.
