LLSHS’ staff mobility

The Erasmus+ program allows administrative and technical staff, as well as teachers and researchers, whether permanent or contract employees, to benefit from Erasmus+ mobility as part of STT (Staff Mobility for Training) or STA (Staff Teaching Assignment) programs. These two types of mobility (STA + STT) can be combined for teaching staff.

It aims to improve the quality of education by facilitating cooperation between institutions and the implementation of international projects.

Mobility for teaching

Teachers can go to a partner institution in Europe to teach classes (8 hours for 5 days of mobility) provided that an Erasmus+ agreement exists in the teaching discipline or is put in place.

The duration of mobility can vary between 2 and 5 days. For any funding beyond 5 days of mobility, please consult the university’s International Relations Department.

Mobility for training

Staff (teachers and administrators) can take a week-long training course at a higher education institution, company, or training organization for:

► Training courses (internships, seminars, workshops, etc.).
► Observation periods at another institution or company.
► Job shadowing to discover other working methods, etc.

This training is included in the annual training plan.

Funding

(within the limits of available funds)

► Travel expenses

Travel expenses are covered by a flat rate calculated based on the distance between the home institution and the host institution.

Calculate your distance using the Erasmus+ distance calculator.

► Living allowance

A flat-rate allowance is awarded to cover accommodation and meal expenses. This allowance also includes the days of travel to and from the destination.

Terms and conditions of participation

  • Identify a European institution or organization

Start by identifying the host institution or organization in Europe where you would like to carry out your mobility program. This could be a partner university, a research center, a company, or a public organization. Make sure that the activities you are considering are in line with your mobility project.

To choose the host institution that best suits your mobility project, consult the university's mobility map.

  • Obtain a letter of invitation or confirmation of registration

Once contact has been established, ask the host institution or organization to provide you with a letter of invitation (or a certificate of enrollment for training courses). This document specifies the dates, content, and terms of your stay, and is an essential part of your application.

  • Complete the form of intent to stay

Submit your mobility project online using the dedicated form. This form allows the International Relations Department (DRI) to assess the feasibility of your project and plan the allocation of Erasmus+ funding.

  • Confirmation of funding by the DRI

Before booking your transportation tickets or accommodation, please wait until you receive official confirmation of funding from the DRI. This step guarantees that your travel expenses will be covered and prevents you from incurring any costs before approval.
